In January 2017, we took over the King Billy pub in Notts to host an art show for the rejected artists from the Castle Open exhibition. We threw a big inclusive public view on the opening night, held an open discussion on what it means to be an emerging artist and get seen, had our own special castle ruins beer on draft throughout the exhibition and put on some experimental live music to close it. We made a zine to accompany the show which I wrote some poetry for. The best thing about this project was the people I got to speak to about my work who normally wouldn't go out of their way to visit art galleries as they find them intimidating.

Left lion wrote a bit about it.
