About me
I'm from Lancashire and shaped by the moors, the mills, the hills that watched the Pendle witches burn. Coming back here was a calling. I knew this land needed this work, and I needed this land.
Before that, I cut my teeth on the Berlin underground queer drag scene, which was exactly as formative as it sounds. Drag cracked something open in me. It brings together everything I love: costume, music, dance, storytelling, politics, humour, concepts you can wear. There are no rules in drag. Drag can be anything. Turns out, so can we.
I did a Fine Art degree at Nottingham Trent University, am a Kaospilot+ Leadership in Systemic Activism fellow, and a UNION School of Arts & Activism alumni. I've led forest bathing workshops in the woods, run eco-arts residencies across Europe, taught theatre to young people, and facilitated the kind of workshops where something genuinely shifts.
If you're an arts organisation, funder, school, or festival looking to bring ecological imagination into your programme - let's talk. And if you're someone who suspects there might be more to all this than you've been told: welcome. You're in the right place. Pull up a mushroom log.
I'm nerdy and camp and proudly Northern and I will absolutely encourage you to learn about mycorrhizal networks while wearing eco-glitter. This is the work and I'm dead serious about it.
